Possible Guinea Eggs in "Quail" Batch?

this chick is now 2-3 weeks old, i have put shoes on it almost every day. it was born with it feet side ways and i started right away trying to fix them. i did get the feet strait but then she walks on the side of her toes. so i straighten them with pipe cleaner and good tape as soon as i put them on she takes them off.ttoday i used a really strong tape and pieces of foam and the toes still crook, so i use cardboard too and more tape to straighten and its like the middle joint is curved. gonna have fun getting all that tape off

Good morning, everyone!
I checked on Archie and Moose this morning, and they have a new neighbor now! Not another chukar, unfortunately. The marans/orpington eggs are starting to hatch. It's so cute how much bigger this day old chick is compared to the chukars.

Awesome!! Congrats!!!

Quail eggs are just too cute, starkasm! I know I told myself these guys would be my last hatch until spring.... but I may not be able to resist if you keep posting pictures of your quail.

Oh! I was wondering how I go about sexing Moose and Archie. Will I have to wait until their older? Archie is a lot lighter in color than moose, so is that a determining factor? I don't like vent sexing, so I'll just wait if it's too early to tell.
