Possible Guinea Eggs in "Quail" Batch?

Well all of my quail eggs were infertile! I guess Thor has ran out of man juice for the ladies.

Do you know how hard it is to find fertile King Quail Eggs (your button quail) in Australia.
There is no one out there at all.
I wish we could import them from you guys in the US.
My daughter just wants to hatch some in her incubator.
I talked a avian guy here and he told me there is a huge shortage of them.
I will have to go out and talk to my birds in my aviary and tell them to stop fooling around with their chicks and start laying again.
Also, I am considering incubating California Quail. They are going for $225 a breeding pair.
Are they hard to breed? Has anyone tried here?

I don't know. Maybe he's just spent? Now that I think about it, I haven't heard him crow in a while. He's not sick or anything. Maybe it's the time of year? This is my first year with quail.

My first year too! Of course mine are only 8 days old...

i have some steriods here you could try.haha, do quail crow? maybe he too old or needs some rooster booster.

They crow, but its more of an interesting warble sound. It's not as loud as a chicken rooster. He was hatched in early March I think it was.

im taking it thats not old for a quail? can they have the booster? or what about another male in a cage next to him? competition always seems to work for most of the male species.
