poor moose, i dont know what to say cheyen, do you think he is sick or just failure to thrive. maybe the smallest chick you have put with him would help but not if he is sick although i couldnt see how he could be

Well, I've been feeding him the sugar water every 15 minutes or so. He's no longer laying down, but he's still not perking up.

Yes, I have both ACV and sugar in the water. I'll probably post something to the chukar forum to see if anyone there can help, granny.

This little guy is making my hair fall out! One minute he's on his side limp as a noodle, and the next he's up and running like a wild man.

I don't know what's up with him, but now he's back to normal. I fed him sugar water all night, so maybe that perked him up. He ate a lot of his food, too.

i dont know what the vinegar is supposed to do but maybe he is getting too much of a good thing ? if i had sugar all night ( and i do sometimes) i would be doing the same thing! reminds me of the story i put on here about my uncle and the dog.haha

Haha, hopefully he'll be okay with me at school. Since he ate like a pig this morning, I'm sure he'll be fine.
