Possible Guinea Eggs in "Quail" Batch?

Starkasm, any idea when the eggs I'm getting were laid? I've been doing my homework, but I want to get a second opinion from you. I read that chukar eggs are unique in that they can be stored much longer than other eggs before hatching, and that it positively affects they're hatching rate. When I get these eggs, would it be okay for me to store them for a week or so? What do you do before you hatch yours?

Got my new thermometer, granny! There's no breaking this one, lol. I'm gonna miss those bug stickers, though.

I did not hang onto them. I let them rest for about a day and then put them in the incubator. So I can't say if that would be good or not because I didn't do it. I'd advise against it cause I had a pretty good hatch. Don't concern yourself if you already have some eggs in the incubator. Mine went in with a few duck eggs lol.

Mine are gonna end up hatching along with a few chickens, lol. I won't be worried about it, especially since it looks like only the tiny silkie egg is going to hatch. I'll let them settle for an extra day. They should get here today!

Mine grew up with a guinea, 3 bantam chicks and 2 call ducklings (til they got too messy!) They are still in with the guinea but I removed the 3 bantams about a month ago because they squabble - all 3 are roosters! Sigh, my luck.....
I found as babies they weren't mean. The guinea was born one day after 2 others and they would try to eat him. So in with the chukars he went. Same with the bantams...the older chicks were mean so in the brooder with the chukars they went...
I have video somewhere of em all running around together, I'll have to locate it.

I hope your eggs come today!!!!

I had one guinea hatch a day late. The other 2 guineas would grab him by his legs and drag him like they we're bringing him home for dinner. Not very nice. So he was put in with the chukars rather than become the mean guineas dinner.

I still want guineas. Mom won't let it happen, though, lol. She'd rather have turkeys.
