Sorry for not posting too often lately. I've been so torn up about the chukars. There's one left. Had to dispatch the others because they weren't eating or drinking.

On a brighter note, we got our d'uccle eggs yesterday. And there's a swap coming up, so I may get some more chukars.

I've learned from my mistake, granny. Went out an bought a reptile terrarium for the remaining one. It has a hardware cloth lid that slides into place. No free food for the dogs now.

Yeah, I may end up keeping him with the d'uccle pair we kept. I don't wanna wait for the others to hatch for him to have a friend. He needs a name.
