So normally I strictly regulate what my two bantams are able to eat. They have a secure area where everything is edible.

Recently my neice had come over. She found some green plants outside the area growing over from my neighbors yard. Then took it upon herself to give them to the chicken as a treat. Bless her cause her heart was in the right place.

I don't know anything about this particular plant because it's not mine. It just kinda grows over the fence. I'm hoping if anyone can tell me if my chickens are in danger and what plant this is.

Chickens typically avoid things they are poisonous; mine free range with no restrictions and we have several plants considered toxic on our property. I wouldn’t worry about it at all.

Thats asparagus fern, I know the berries are poisonous but i don't know about the leaves. Its related to the asparagus you eat.
