Not that I don't support gun ownership, I just don't own one for personal reasons none of which I care to state on a chicken forum. My #1 predator in the neighborhood is cats, not coyote, raccoons, fox, etc.

Anyhow, if you'd like to carry the conversation into something more than removing a baby possum, please start a new thread.

Btw, I happen to like the research that says killing off the top predators is wrong. I spend a lot of time on the water and we also do not kill sharks for this very reason. But, that's my opinion and you don't have to agree.
