I have a new ugly picture. This certain polish female never DID have a nice crest. And the strong wind really didn't help her looks at all. Hahaha.

Here she is again being blown by the wind. Our other my prettier polish looks like she's laughing at her.

I've seen chickens molt, but she's definitely "showing" it a bit more than all the others I've seen!

that is possibly the worst molt I have EVER seen! HAHA! Poor dear! She sure is beautiful normally, though! Can't wait till she gets back to that!

That's how our girls are molting this year too! One day they are fluffy, the next - near nekkid! Temps will be hitting below freezing soon - I feel so bad for them. I wonder if I should make some polar fleece robes.

I know... seems like to absolute worst time to loose your feathers. Why not loose them at the peak of summer for a little relief?!?
