I got my MM order on Feb 23. So 2 weeks old today. All Wyandottes except free chick

5 gold laced
5 silver laced
5 Colombian
6 blue laced red
6 silver penciled

1 Free rare chick, turned out to be a silver spangled hamburg

These will be added to our already established flock of 9 hens, 2 GSL, 2 BR, 2 BSL, 1 EE, 1 light bramah/Cochin X bantam, 1 MFD'U bantam

Hopefully to night I will get a call from the main post office in my area to let me know that I can pick up my babies tomorrow or wait until Monday for my local post to deliver them. I will be there asap tomorrow. This is what I am expecting 2 Barred Rock (F), 2 Partridge Rock (F), 6 Black Australorps (F) 1 Black Australorp (M), 2 Silver Laced (F), 3 Columbian (F), 3 RR (F) and 1 Partridge Cochin (M) for my 3 Buff Cochins that survived the massacre that killed their beloved Mr. Roo (my aviator) and 1 other hen. Does anyone know with this mix how they will do? I thought about putting the Partridge and Barred Rock with the Cochin Roo and hens along with the RR's. I have never had any of the others. I purchased them for their dual purpose of also being a meat bird except for the Cochin.

I can't wait for the chicks to come from McMurray Hatchery who also throws a special treat in with your order. My last treat bird was my best layer of huge brown eggs, she also got killed in the recent massacre.

I'm getting 20 chicks from Cackle, and 75 from Happy Creek Exotics. I also bought some chicks locally. And I have some in the bator for hatching due this weekend!

Waiting on chicks from Ideal. Ship date April 15. 5 Barred Rocks, 4 Buff Orpingtons, 3 grey Silkies. Also in April I can pick up 5 Speckled Sussex from a local hatchery.
