POST OFFICE LOST RESCUED BIRDS!

I just want to thank those of you who supported Carrie and I through this harrowing ordeal. This is something I dont think I can do again...ship birds. and IF I do....I know just WHO i can talk to about it..and will keep it OFF of the forum....for "some people" like to point dirty fingers. Again, thanks to everyone for the support, and prayers....they will be with thier new momma, in the morning!!

Thank you one and all. I will post a new thread with photos tomorrow after they are settled in. Don't want to freak them out by using a flash bulb on them so soon. They will be in a very comfortable, safe coop...not in cages!!!

Phew! Okay, i can go to bed now. i just kept praying that they were in the hands of kind folk who would look after them. i know i wasn't the only one. Thank goodness all is well. Those are some lucky chickens! Looking forward to pictures once they get all settled in.

I'm so relieved and happy that they were found and are OK. Hope they continue their journey to you in the morning with no further mishaps! I'm sure they will be very confused but glad birds when they get to their new home.

i just had a feeling that Deb would not let anything hurt those chickens, whether they were in her physical hands or not. They were surrounded by one big wave of protection.

WHOA! I just read this thread all at once and feel as though I have been on a roller coaster ride. I can't imagine how you folks actually feel having to endure this.

wolfpacker, you got that right! ha we are all so happy and I cannot tell you the relief we are feeling now. I don't know that I can sleep tonight. I was up since 3 last night since I was so excited about their arrival supposedly early this morning. very stressful day.
