Post Phoenix Pics Please

That is a surreal fun looking chicken. Wonder how much work it would be to get that to breed true.
It will probably take a long time to make them breed true. Their dad is a crele Polish and the amount of genetic material in his background is substantial. I have been working on the crele polish for 3 years and still have weird colors pop up. I decided to breed them to Phoenix to try to get some more consistency. I am going to now breed these girls back to the crele polish to see what happens. Its just a fun project and I am still not sure where it will take me.

I've never shipped eggs, the problem with these are they are so broody that they hide their eggs and hatch constantly. I would really like for them to go to a breeder that has the space and can benefit from having them, even if I come out with a loss. I love these birds and I want them to go to a great home.

I wish I had room to have lots of these.

I haven't been on the thread in ages and never had clear pics of my birds. But I have 2 hens sitting on one nest of 11 eggs and 4 hatched so far. My girls can hatch them, it's raising them that doesn't work out. I have eggs hatching all over. I've sent several people eggs and everyone is getting these guys.
