Post Phoenix Pics Please

Well my phoenix rooster is starting to attack people. Can't even get in the run without him charging me. He's going to go, but first I'm going to get a few clutches from him x my silver phoenix hen. Is it true that with BBR x Silver they can be sexed by color? Because I have two from that cross and one is silver and one is a pale reddish color. I can't tell if their roos or hens. They both have reddish combs, but I have 12 'sexed' pullets from cackle that all have reddish combs, even though their only 3 months old.
The reddish chicks should be pullets and the silvery chicks should be cockerels.

Also figured I'd post another update on my crele phoenix project. The home made pullets I have are coming along great, here in the next couple weeks I will be culling down to maybe 4. These little ladies should lay blue eggs but we'll see. Also, depending on who they get mated to, I might end up with some cream light brown crele (not sure what else to call them) phoenix.
Yesterday I was at my taxidermy teachers place and he was complaining about having too many chickens and that he needed pen space for pheasants. I knew he had some LF crele phoenix type birds that traced back to our original bantam crele phoenix that we made ages ago so I was curious. I went out and looked at them and was surprised to see how many crele hens he had. I ended up getting a hen that is the size of a larger bantam that he said is from our line that was crossed with game and BBR phoenix. Then I got another hen that is inbetween LF and bantam, she is 1/2 phoenix and 1/2 flytie, I am pretty pleased with them. They have been in with rowdy roosters so when their feathers grow in, I will try to upload pics.

As far as home hatched birds, we have TONS of silvers and only a couple gold cockerels meaning the rooster we're using isn't a real good gold/golden duckwing (always confused on those terms) since he threw silver pullets. Anyone expecting to have a small BBR/light brown phoenix cockerel for sale this fall?

should have a few, as well as a few golds Michael if it helps.
Phoenix have both golden duckwing ( the ones that look like dirty silvers with silver hens like in old English) and gold duckwing , the ones that look like gold colored bb reds, just like a light brown dutch bantam. Most are the darker versions, but I have both.

Congrats on finding some of your old blood line too. That should help you a lot in them. I'm about to start the F2 cross on my bantams which should finish them up... I love a good crele in anything.... looking forward to seeing you progress in it too.

It looks as though Cackle sent you an assortment of colors.  I see reds , silvers , and gold.  I hope you have more than the one pullet.  They look to be nice and healthy.  Enjoy them, the older they get the prettier they will become.

No I only have one

Hi ya'll. I am finally getting around to posting in this thread.

Several months ago I got eggs in the mail from Decoyman. Several pairs I sold and gave away for 4H kids and hobbyist. These are the ones I kept and I am so excited with how they look. They are 11 weeks now... I think... Anyway

The one puffed up is on the mend. I think she was starting to have a cocci problem. A week on medicated feed has her nearly back to normal. They were not raised on medicated feed. She's nearly back to normal.

This is Mr. Ed... Named after Decoyman. He was the first one out of his shell, the first one to escape the brooder, made it all the way through my house to my bedroom, with out getting killed by any of the 3 cats and 2 dogs! He's a beauty.

By far the prettiest pullet. Lemon is her name. I am going to pair her up with the cockerel in the second pic

This hole they are bathing in started as a raccoon digging hole. I have fence on the floor of their little run and it couldn't get in. HA! Anyway, they decided it was the perfect bathing hole after i filled the soil back in.

A newer pic of the second cockerel pic. His barring on his neck is a bit dizzy. LOL He's got a great attitude. Takes my picking him up very well.

Mr. Ed from the side. He's got such nice color. I hope my boy will be able to show him next year. So far I am so please with how pretty he is looking. He also has a nice personality at this time. Hope it doesn't change.

They also live with a white jap bantam, also from Decoyman's stock.

Thanks! I am wondering what colors they'd be? I know the ones that are the lemon blues, are lemon blues. LOL. BUT what about the pullets from the fifth pic, the one that is closest to the door, I have 3 of those, and then the one in the center with the richer color? What color are they considered?
