Yep Chris, the first vid of the Phoenix roo, I'm pretty sure is owned by Ms Toni Marie Astin, she said he was the father of one of my Red Pyle roos that I got from her.

LOL

I was gone say that looked like Toni-Maries birds to, if it aint hers I'm sure it's her line

I have 2 phoenix hens. One silver and one gold. The gold one...named Goldie, will wait by the door mornings for my husband and she will let him pet and touch her....but not me...LOL

OK??? Whats the green legs mean? Are these normal size chickens? Whats there eggs look like? I did have a rooster but found him a great home.

green legs means it a clean blood or a very close to pure bred animal..it fits the standard for the phoenix
they are suppose to be green or slate colored..but green legged ones are alittle tougher to find..

Here are my phoenix chicks (between 6-8 weeks old I think) Mine are so friendly! Come up to see me and jump into my lap even

Blue legs are required. Green legs are a DQ. The breeders carry the recessive yellow skin gene. Tom

actually that's right

The green is more of what those with non molting (crossed up) lines run into, but yes the blue is the standard for leg color in phoenix. I just like the look of those green leg ones.
