The only phoenix that hatch this year at least its a pullet !

my serama hen hatch her out and raised her i just moved her in with the big birds today

and shes haveing a rough day today . she will find her spot in the flock in a day or two .

yep, they'll settle down in a day or so, everytime you move one, they'll have a pecking order tussy for a bit.

Here are some roughly 8 week old Phoenix chicks - I posted this on the sexing forum but thought I'd post it here where people who know the breed can comment. I get basically 3 juvenile feather types and all three are shown here. I know the one under the hen is a pullet. I know the far right one is a rooster. But the other two are confusing, with the black head and pullet body. I thought they were cockerels. The two responses on the sexing forum said pullets. It doesn't matter overmuch, as I'm keeping most all of them until they are fully adult feathered so I can better learn selection, but I am curious, nonetheless.
