Jab2you..Yes..they can be quite round..this photo is borrowed as illustration from a farm in the UK of a decent example of lemon cuckoo to show you and orpington should have the shape of an orpington....It seems its a work in progress..but type, shape should be considerd by breeders..and recently there was a problem with one of these strains having lack of toenails so you have to check everything befor buying.there are no issues with birds in this picture, just using it as example of good shape orpington.

Bella now... She still has them lumps on her feet! She is doing my head in! I'm going to buy her some anti swelling cream and see if that helps her. they still aren't bothering her so I'm not too worried!

Try Nu-Stock ointment...when all else fails...I've had this stuff work for wierd, seemingly incurable skin issues...whether dew rot/fungal or otherwise. May be available locally through feed dealer but included a link in case. I also love Betadine shampoo for washing feet. Both of these I have used on various small and large livestock throughout the years with success.

Nu-Stock is good stuff, but I think that Bella has 2 encapsulated abscesses between her toes.Even if they are lanced, they will probably fill up again, unless the actual capsule is cut out. The antibiotic knocked out the infection, but whatever was in there is STILL in there, walled off.
I've seen hens live for years with big pouches of dirt on the sides of their bodies from cock bird wounds that were never cleaned, or sutured. They just filled up with dirt. Amazing that it didn't seem to bother the hens. That would have had me at the vet with mine.
 
Daisy has managed to get her chick to bed by herself, so they can stay out for good now!
