Post Pics Of Orps/ Orpingtons HERE

Bill she is gorgeous. Is she out of the akers girls or 1/2 akers? Love her color. She is going to be something.

She is pure Akers. I have her with the Big Buff cockerel I got from the Ohio Show. She is mom to the big cockerel mix that had that Black chick.
Here are the 1/2 Akers girls.

This little fella is 1/4 Akers. I am hoping for no red leakage or lite eye

This here is a pullet from the same male who fathered the Black. This chick is 1/4 Buff Orp, 1/4 Australorp from the daddy's side, and 1/4 Buff Orp 1/4 RIR from the hens side. This chick was the other test hatch chick from BUSTOFF.

Harry said he has primitive lacing & I should use him on a LAV too. I don't have any Lav pullets. Or I would

Bill I thought I recognized the type. You should be able to show her. The halfs look good too but she certainly stands out. how old is she?

She is around a year and 7 month old
You know I would like to show her, I just have this thing about showing birds that are laid, hatched and raised here. One of the other ORP breeders tells me I should show the birds I got from her last year. And I just feel like I would be living on the glory of anothers hard work. That is why I won't show my Buff CoChins. Cause their darn nice too. And I finally got a pair of fertile eggs from the Buff CoChin pullet, and she stops layin. lololol Just my luck. So I hope those two eggs hatch okay, and I may have them ready for November.
These are the three I am showin at the GATEWAY Show in Bloomington IN.

7 month ole Buff cockerel. 1/2 Vermazen 1/2 Akers
I showed Doug some pics, and he likes this fella. And our girlfriend agreed. So we're showin him

Bill,
Very nice buff hen pictured on page 21. Makes me want some quality buffs like that myself if I had the room. Good luck hope she produces many quality babies for you.

I feel lucky so far. I put them into these pens that nothing can get into to protect them.
I have 3 Buff pens for now. I just moved my 1/2 Akers boy JeRONimo with his other 3 sis's and hope to make one more pen to separate the pure Akers girls and put them into one of these pens to themselves. And then breed the snot outta them. When your ready Harry, you just ask.
