Thank you... as you can imagine, I am tickled pink. Or blue and splash, as the case may be.

Very happy. 9 is my lucky number with Orps... 9 last time, 9 this time! LOL! Now, hopefully they won't turn out to be 6 males and 3 females again!

I am happy to hear that Charlie is two... my Bob will be 2 in August, and I wondered about whether I could keep him in the breeder pen one more year. So far the fertility is excellent, so

?

This week seems to be rolling hatches, every 2 days... just moved 8 babies to a brooder to make room for a bunch more... like you said, it never gets old.

Though hubby will not be happy with me if I don't move the brooder out of the bedroom.

My wife wants me to take my broodies out of our bedroom too. What is wrong with that? Isn't that normal? I am being very slow to hatch out this year. And she still wants me to move out to the pole barn

our weather has been extremely warm this time of the year. So I just pushed out some little ones into grow up pens. So the bedroom is slowly gettin depopulated.

The major issue is as soon as I take out 14 birds, I have another 15 hatch today. It is like a conveyor belt of chicks.
