Rwoman, wow, are they nice looking! I am too new to Orps to give you an opinion worth considering, but I'll see if I am right in my guess that you have one black roo in there- he is behind everyone in a couple of the last few pictures. And at least one blue roo, and one lighter blue roo. That splash is beautiful- I would guess pullet also. I hope I get one someday!!!!

rustywoman the kissy chic pic is too CUTE

I have black orp eggs on the way from hinkjc. I have lavs , my cockerel is too funny he steps between me and his ladies not to keep me away but to be picked up FIRST.

Beth, Thank you! Ahhhh I was taking bunch of pics and the "black" one is a Marans--sorry! Didn't mean to confuse anyone.

muddyhorse-- The look on your roo's face is precious! And what is that black poofy bottom next to him? A frizzle? Your Lav's are very nice!

Joza-- Your bantam Orp is really lovely. Great type!

Can anyone tell me if picture #3 is a splash or a light blue? Now that Beth said there was a light blue I am thinking that one is...

You always take such great photos!

The third one looks blue to me. I need to get some recent pictures of mine.

muddyhorse .... Sounds like a you are gonna have a sweet boy in that rooster!

Geramaine, I am glad Kathy said blue, too, I was holding my breath to see if I had learned anything yet! I thought blue because of the darker head and the hint of lacing that you can already see.
They are beautiful, beautiful babies, and your little flirt needs a special name!!!!

Joza- nice fluffy butt there!

Muddyhorse- don't show lavender pictures anywhere near me!!! It makes me drool uncontrollably!

rustywomand , your welcome to stop by my farm and visit with those babies and accidently leave a couple behind, My lordy, how bama chickens managed to get birds like that and keep a touch of elegance in the necks, I dont know..

And joza2210 , Wish you didnt live across the pond. Boy we would love a black orp like that girl

Is this 14 wk old Orp a male or female? (from jmhappycowboy hatch)
For the longest time I thought roo, but now I am thinking pullet.
*** Beth, this is the one I kept, because I thought it was a roo.
