Post Pics Of Orps/ Orpingtons HERE

Jim, that should be a great addition to your breeding program, even if it not entirely what you would have liked.
We lost our Buff Orpington males to an act of vandalism in September 2012. Vickie offered a cockerel from our own line pullets crossed with an imported European/Continental Buff Orpington that Marc Sarce imported. This cockerel is being bred back to his aunts and grandmother. It was not our first choice, but became our only choice. We deeply appreciate the generosity of Thedragonlady! Her Monty appears in photos to fit the SOP. We will cull very close to the SOP. Vickie is also breeding to the SOP. We would have preferred to stay with our own line, but nothing was available but Junior. So far he meets the Standard. That is all we can ask or hope for.

On a side note, we have moved our livestock to a very secure location and added a new 200# livestock guardian dog. They will be safe now!

Bella and my Ancona had the weirdest fight I have EVER seen a chicken do today. The Ancona was sitting next to Bella and then she pecked Bella for no reason and made her squak so Bella got a angry and pecked her back and the Ancona squaked. Then they started fighting and the Ancona grabbed Bella's comb and was flying up in the air flapping in her face, Bella tried to get free because she give up but the Ancona wouldn't let go so Bella's mother jamp in and beat the Ancona up. Anyways it was nice weather today so they eventually got out the shed but Bella still ate her egg -__-

Those are some pretty pictures!
Hopefully they can all just get along and maybe Bella will stop eating her eggs!
