There you go Cheryl, well worth $35. Doug's Buff's are thought to have very desirable color. This girl has a great head. Not as good as the bird that won best English at this show today. But, this bird is the sister of the English Champ, and Reserve Show winner. Doug said she had some broken feathers. Boy I am lucky!
Besides having some of the best quality birds, not just Buff Orps, he won Best Large Fowl American with his White Plymouth Rocks, has European imported New Hamsphire Reds (flat out the best I seen anywhere in person or in photo), he does Welsummers, and ofcourse LF Sumatras.
He also is, if your lucky enough to have him critique your birds, one of the best poultry eyes in the bizz. Here he is explaining to a young future Feathered Fancier what he looks for when evaluating birds. Like EF HUTTON we're ALL listening. What I really like, is he puts on each birds card what he likes and doesn't like.
