egg-sactly!! I like to check humidity and temps often and I leave my babies in there to hatch so we can all watch and love on them. Geez gearuplyn, every post I see of yours comes along with a very bad additude. Please don't be so critical of everyone. No one is perfect and everyone has different ways of doing things. Im sure your points would be a lot more appreciated if they were expressed in in a better tone...not so inulting

I don't actually see any insult in that post. I guess I've seen too many little critters killed with kindness.

Well I haven't killed any and actually may have saved lives by carefully managing my incubator. We also enjoy the interactive window in our bator and so does 90% of byc so maybe just be a bit more gentle with opinions

i have a 98% hatch rate out of my new bator,, 1 hatch a week of 48 or more chickies,, the ones that didnt make it, didnt make it by a week or more,,,,, my kindness is what brought ALL those babies in this world

i took responsibility for those eggs the minute i took them out of the nest,,,and i take it very serious ,, ,,,,,
i think people that use the "your suppose to leave them alone" excuse uses it to make the ones they loose "look" like it was nature,,,,, when its nowhere close.

I would not be thrilled to buy chicks from someone that helped them hatch. I want healthy vigorous chicks that hatched on their own.

I do like to watch them hatch through the glass though

the1much ~ I'm sorry, reading your post it comes across like you help a lot of chicks and that it's not natural for them not to hatch.
