My Turkey laid her 1st egg yesterday!!! I'm such a goof, I couldn't figure out which chicken laid such a large, strange looking egg!! Lol Too bad my bf accidentally killed her Tom about a month ago, so its not even fertile!! The Tom kept attacking him every time he would turn his back. Is this normal for a turkey? I'd love to get another for her, but I can't have one behaving like that.

Thank you! I hatched them in 2012, I sold most of them but I kept two females. Sadly a few days ago my last turkey died. He got sick before when I went out of town, and then I got a phone call saying that he had passed away. Now I don't have any, but I am thinking about getting some Bourbon Red.

Sorry you don't have any more turkeys. I have Bourbon Reds, they are great.
