Louise, one of my Leghorn hens. Half of them decided to wait until November and December to molt, but I'm glad they're getting a break from egg laying. Luckily it has been a relatively mild winter so far

Here is my 2 yr old Swedish Flower hen Speckles.....and this is the worst molt I've EVER seen lol! Poor girl has been naked for about 4 mos now. I've been giving her scrambled eggs and fish to help boost her protein intake and keeping her inside, so hopefully by Spring she'll be back to her usual fluffy, chatty self 😊

She's been bald for 4 months now with no signs of new growth yet? I'd be getting worried if she was my bird. Poor girl. Hopefully she grows them in soon. :(
