post your chicken coop pictures here!

Well the total footprint is 8x12.. Enclosed space is 4x8. Height... I'm gonna say 7' not including roof peak.
Thanks for the sizing...now I'll have to put pen to paper and try and figure it all out...uh, make that pencil to paper, I have a feeling I'm going to be doing a LOT of erasing!

COOP NOW HAS CHICKEN WIRE AS THE FRONT WALL(NOT YET ADDED IN PICTURE)

RECYCLED MATERIALS- "THE COOPLEX"

BASICALLY PALLETS, SOME OLD BARN LUMBER, AND SCRAP METAL ROOFING. 2ND FLOOR NESTING BOXES WITH EGG DOOR AND ROOSTS, 1ST FLOOR FOOD AND STRAW/ PLAY AREA. CHICKENS FREE RANGE IN THE REST OF THE BACKYARD.

HOPE THIS HELPS ANYONE NOT LOOKING TO SPEND THEIR SAVINGS/PRECIOUS TIME ON A SUPER FANCY COOP. ITS BEEN A GOOD YEAR FOR THE GIRLS AND THEY SEEM TO LOVE THEIR HOME, WHICH IS IN A CONSTANT STATE OF ALTERATION/CONSTRUCTION. I FEEL LIKE ITS GOOD TO START WITH THE BASICS OF SHELTER AND BUILD ACCORDING TO THE HABITS OF YOUR CHICKENS. ITS EASIER ON THE POCKET TO USE CHEAP MATERIALS AS YOUR GOING TO NOTICE THINGS YOU COULD HAVE DONE DIFFERENTLY AS YOU ENCOUNTER CHANGES IN SEASON, PESTS, DOGS, COOP CLEANING, AESTHETICS, BEHAVIORS, ACCESSIBILITY, ETC.

THANKS

heres ours :) not as big & wonderful as some of yours but it works great for our two ducks and 3 chickens

What does your run measure and are they in it all day? I've wondered how it would work to keep a few ducks in with my chickens short-term over the summer. Do the ducks keep it yucky in there?

Very pretty by the way! :)

Thanks :) no i let them out to free range on nice days, and it does get a lil mucky but i used pea gravel with 1/2 rock under for great drainage so i just use a hose to spray down to keep mess down
