Here's our coop it's our old treehouse!!!

The second floor is where we put the freshly washed show chickens the week of the show so they don't get dirty on the dirt outside couldn't get a very good pic though sorry

Personally I would wait unless it is really necesary but that's just my personal opinion

Love all the pics! We are complete chicken newbies and we've learned alot from these forums. We're planning our coop and run and I've got a few questions. We will have 6 hens, do I need 6 nest boxes or will they "share"? Also, where do feeders and waterers go? In the coop or in the run?

general rule is 3 or 4 hens per nest box. I have my feed and water inside the coop. the best way is to hang them up.

Where do u get such large kennel panels ?

They are Prefert dog kennel panels. I am a dog trainer so we watch for these on Craigs list and get them when they come up. New they are expensive because of the material and the fact that they are modular, no bolts! I have 2 predators that live here so I need sturdy fencing. We skirted the bottom with wire and will be covering the bottom 2 feet in hardware cloth, of coarse the top will be covered as well. Once done it will be 10X20 I am happy with it and it looks decent too.
