My first-time build, my wife chose the barn look. Love having them so I'm working on a larger coop so I can increase the size of my flock in the spring. Both are repurposed shipping crates from work and old decking boards.

that looks awesome!! don't forget to make the bigger one even bigger....ya know, chicken math and all ;)

Thank you. The new one is 4x6 and will be raised off the ground for easy access and cleaning. We like a variety of birds and want to add another Buff Orp, Gold Laced Orpington or maybe a Copper Maran. Definitely want another Silkie (wife's favorite) and maybe a rooster too.

We had a nice flock but lost over half of them to a possum awhile ago. Learned a lot and building this new coop more predator proof.
