Yeah, I know what you mean about size. But for me it's kinda about money, too. Gosh, the dang thing was so inexpensive and with what I'll be doing to it to tweak it the way I want it I'll probably be into it, minus the 1/2" hardware cloth, around $320.00. So for me being the age I'm at and not able to build things like I used to do back in the day, it's a good option for me. I'll try and post a pic or two when she's all finished.

Money is why we took 3 years to get as far as we have and in 2 years are probably taking it all down for a taller walk-in coop to make it easier in our old age. That hardwire fencing is very expensive but in the long run people are glad they used it and it's much sturdier than 1" chicken wire - even though it kept the stray dog from getting into the coop the darn animal bent the 1" chicken wire so out of shape there's no fixing it to make it look nice again. Not to mention that we have to put $$ into a block wall fence around the property since the old chainlink is 60 years old! I love being a homeowner but tired of it all at the same time! People in snow country probably have more expense than the milder climate chicken owners.

i just finished mine it cost less than 100.00
Not to be disrespectful but unpainted OSB won't last very long unless it does not rain where you are. It will turn to mush. You need to prime it and then paint with an exterior latex paint. From my phone I can't tell what kind of wire you have but unless 1/2 inch hardware cloth it will not keep predators out. Other than that Good Job! David

First time chicken owner! 6 chicks patiently waiting for their new chicken condo! ;-)... Sort of hacked my way threw this over past 2 weekends. Advice on where to place the feed and water? Coop or run?

That looks great! I'm a little scared to literally chop off the entire right side of my coop kit! But chop I will! After I raise the actual coop/nesting boxes up approx. 2 feet with a 4x4 frame of sorts, then I'll rebuild the run section approx. 8 feet by whatever height the structure ends up. This way I'll at least be able to get into the run area for cleaning, etc.....can't stoop much anymore at my age!!
