Man, you and your coops sure do have problems staying out from under trees.... Isn't this the second time this has happened to you? And Hubby still hasn't replaced the first one with an acceptable one... Mother nature is trying to help you out and spur him on! about time really, dontcha think? Glad no animal (or human) losses!

Yep... I got pictures this time lol.. We have started the framework for the new one already. It will have a solid back and front with opening for the birds. Hardware cloth on the sides set up where I can open both sides for eggs and cleaning with sloped top. Will work tomorrow if rain goes away

The last hen is alive and unharmed!!! It was confirmed that even though it never touched down there was a F1 tornado that passed over my house causing the damage. Tomorrow starts the cleanup as long as no more storms wreak havoc. My husband said that this is a sign for him to finish the new coop and get the old fence down and new one up ASAP. Just takes an act of God to get him working on it ... :lau

Will do. I'm sitting a few miles from the Gulf of Mexico so tornados and hurricanes are every year. Just first time I had one go right over my house and had physical damage outside like this.
