Great looking coop!!!  What are the dimensions?  Got any build pictures of it?  Your daughter is precious!!!

The dimensions are 8*12. I took lots of build pictures, but will probably start my own thread when it's all done. It was a lot of fun doing it and only a couple of things I would change (so far, but the end is near!) in how I built it.

My daughter loved helping. She thinks I need a tape measure at all times, so she is constantly handing them to me... Haha. She's definitely a handful!

May want to add some electricity to that fencing.

Hadn't even thought of it!!! Great idea!! When my guy had chickens/turkeys like 10 years ago... he said in all the years they only lost 2 turkeys to a grizzly -- but it was because the turkeys didn't even try to go in the coop -- but instead walked right up to the hole the grizzly made in the gate. That gate has since been replaced (it was a wooden gate)

Was definitely a coyote-- I sat out there and watched him come in and out of the yard several times. The run is chain link fence dug in and then outwards and then chicken wire along the bottom 3 feet or so as well. We should be safe from everything--- except maybe a huge determined grizzly could push the fencing down. Hoping not!

Ya I hate those chain like dog kennels I like the welded wire ones and set them up on little red bricks and put the bricks in the ground the whole way around it but I have two connected together so I don't have ape out bricks to do all of that

I almost wish we had wolves in this part of Washington. They are great at controlling coyote populations. And they are too human shy to try and break into a coop right next to the house...

On the flip side hybrid Coyote/Wolf aka Coywolf are on the rise in mixed territory regions...

The timidness of the wolf around people and urban areas is gone, they are more prone to pack hunting like wolves (even in urban areas) they are larger than coyotes and they mature/breed faster then coyotes and wolves...

Grew up in Southern California where native coyotes have intermixed with stray dogs. Now that is a scary combination...
