The son of the male above has that very light color. I agree the oldest male of mine is way too dark but is there any possibility for something like this to randomly show up as leakage? I will try to get photos of that male this weekend during daylight hours.

some blues with certain genetics can look Mauve/Platinum blue

I have hens that are similar to that but the feathers are laced with that brown color, not entire feathers. I'm sorry. I forgot to say that these are Langshans.

Don't forget that Sumatra are a very dark (black enhanced) breed
