There are lots of recipes for homemade ones, I will provide a recipe in a second post. You can also make a feeder ball, or ball dispenser toy, but punching 1-2 holes in a water bottle somewhere, fill the water bottle with scratch, and when they push it around the scratch comes comes out! I have more DIY toys too if you want some ideas!

You can let it harden in a block mold too, to make it more like a block!

Food not the best for boredom busters, IMO,
too many treats dilute the nutrition of the regular feed..

This makes perfect sense, you could switch it up, and put normal food in the ball, and take away the feeder to make them want to try the ball! And mix scratch or meal worms in with the normal food in the ball!
