This egg was laid today. The first egg from my Ameraucana pullet from Ideal Poultry. She is 23 weeks old. It is so pretty.

I finally have bum nuts! Only one of the girls are laying, but I dont think it will be long before the other two girls follow suit I have a feeling its Peri Peri who laid the egg. I will find out on the weekend Bring on yummy baked custard!

Off topic for a sec. What kind of dog is in the background? Its face looks similar to my mixed breed dog.

Our BCM graced us with a very noisy day prior to leaving us with this beauty in the nesting box . Our Ameracauna's first eggs were half this size.... No wonder she was loud!!! I am guessing they will even up in color as everything gets working better for her. I can't imagine them getting bigger though!!
