Yaay, congratulations!

Hope she learns to use the nest box now?!?!?!

She has! The very next day she was acting very unsettled and kept going into the coop (Australorp) and found the nest boxes, scratched around madly, tossing most of the pine shavings out and eventually laid another egg for us! about 2mm longer than the last!

. From my experience with them the black sex links, they are very friendly and hardy breeds. I would definitely recommend them.

This is not my first eggs but it is the first green egg. Do Orpingtons lay green eggs? The research I've read says light brown. The brown is from my RIR and the small white one is from one of my two Cochins. My Silkie isnt laying.

Any ideas?

Easter Eggers lay green eggs. DO you have a pic of the suspected chicken? Nice assortment of eggs also
