Yes, like I said, I know it is a coyote! If you read by post carefully I say "the 'yote (short for coyote), is heading towards my house."

I'll definitely post my views on the camera. I really couldn't find many reviews but the ones I did find were good.

The Sava camera works great and has good quality pictures. I use it primarily in the video mode. Both cameras are pretty much set the same. My other camera (Primos) lasts a long time on the 8 AA batteries. This one eats them up in 2 days .I have the timer set to turn the camera on at 10pm and off at 7am.

You mean the SAVA eats them up in 2 days? Mine doesn't. It goes months on 8 batteries. But, do you have it where it's being triggered constantly? That would wear it out, for sure. I've replaced my batteries one time since I bought it and I'm not using lithiums like I used to do in my StealthCam. Maybe backstepping on the resolution would help battery life if you have it high.Mine is not set on video, but even when it was, it didn't eat up the batteries that way. hmm.

By the way, there was a fox next to the driveway right close to the house eying my cat at 4 a.m. DH went out when we heard it alarm bark and found it 20' from the cat, who was calmly sitting across the driveway watching it. For some reason, the StealthCam did not trigger at all and really, it should have if the fox was where DH said it was.

I like my Sava a lot. I have it pointed at a pasture set taking one photo at a time and it lasts a long time on the batteries that way. But takes great video and photo bursts, etc. I love that I can view what's on it without taking the tiny card out and hoofing back to the house or having a separate viewer. I can erase all the pics on it if it's the same old stuff and start it over again. For the money, it has a LOT of features. I had to ask the company to send me a new strap-mine was not sewn great at the buckle and shredded a little and they did, but the camera is great.
