I was trying to look them up and my first thought was a fisher but it seems they have weasels there but not fishers so I was wondering. Just curious.

Sort of: it's a beech marten (are there martens in USA? I don't know).

We have pine Martin's. Bigger than a weasel, but smaller than a fisher.
