Post Your Predator Guns Below

Just make sure your chicken run has tiny holes in the net so racoons can't get their hands through and that there is a net on top so hawks and other flying predators can't swoop down and get them ok

This thread is for people who want to discuss their firearms and predator hunting/killing methods, if you don't want to see that then don't read this thread.

Here's the pretty end of my deerslayer.

I'm running a Lee turret press I got in an auction lot with some components and ammo I wanted. Also have a vintage Pacific single press but I only use that for ram priming. The turret is more efficient as I can drop resize and seating die in at the same time.

I shoot 6.5 swede CMP, International and HP matches, 7,5 Swiss CMP and Swiss matches (2 K-31s and a G11, love those swiss rifles), 7.62X54R general plinking, 30-06 M1 Garand, .308 (wife's rifle, great on deer with a 150 gr Speer Hot cor), The .280 Rem built on a K98 mauser action with a thumbhole walnut stock is my Deer rifle. My friends call it "The Death Ray". I use the Speer 145 grand slam over IMR 4350. The rest eat IMR 4064 or 4350. Got a bunch of 8mm and x54r steel core. That stuffs a lot of fun on hard targets like rocks and old car parts at my uncles dump.

I picked up some of that wooden bullet 6,5 ammo to pull down for brass but haven't gotten to it as I'm working through a large lot of Lapua brass I picked up from a going out of business gunshop for a song. In the meantime it's fun for practicing my offhand on pop cans at short range.
