I am a cook.
As keen as can be.
It appears that this contest,
is waiting for me.

As good as I am,
but modest & shy.
I could whip something up,
that would please the eye.

For I have plenty of time,
that's on my side.
So I'll jump on my broom,
and go for a ride.

To the market I go,
flying with great speed.
To gather the goodies,
and all that I need.

Return to my home,
And carrying my loot.
For it is the title of "winner",
which I am in pursuit.

As I am stirring my pot,
smelling my brew.
There is only one thing left to do.

So I grab my camera,
take pics of my winner.
Then my family sits down,
And we enjoy our dinner.

Soon after she was born she was diagnosed with craniosynostosis and at six months old had her first surgery. Then another at five years old. She is smart as a whip and one of the bravest people I know.

OMGosh! That must've been TERRIFYING!!! She clearly gets her super bravery from her mamaw.
