Hi, after reading a few threads here on poultry management software, I was inspired to create something better than what's out there today. If you are interested, take a look at http://farmplenty.com. I'm starting with the essentials: tracking egg production, feed consumption, sales, and expenses. Let me know if you think this is useful, or if there is anything else you would like to see. For a limited time I'm giving a 30-day free trial of FarmPlenty Flock Manager software for BackyardChickens members, just sign up for the newsletter at the bottom of http://farmplenty.com. Thanks for your feedback!
I'm developing a free iPhone app for record keeping, it lets you record eggs and feed and take notes and photos. I've been using it for a few weeks and find it much more convenient than a spreadsheet. The app hasn't yet been approved by the App Store but if you'd like to try a beta version or want to know once it's available just PM me your email address. You can also find more information on the "Products" page of my website if you click on my profile. Here are some screenshots:
I am planning to develop a "Pro" version with more advanced features like expense and sales tracking, let me know if there's anything else you'd like to see. Thanks!
Please try it out and let me know what you think. I have a lot of stuff planned for future versions, let me know what you'd like to see. This app is iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch only for now. Thanks!
I've updated my free chicken egg tracking app to allow you to track individual birds in your flock, including breed, hatch date, and any other custom notes you want to record. You can find it at http://flockplenty.com. Let me know what you think!
