You all are killing me! I want turkens. BUT...We have a closed flock. I will have to abide by our agreed upon rules at our place...unless the hubby caves first.
Turkens are so cool.
I fear this swap.

I will want more than I can have and it's going to be awful.
I just know it.

The husband is already eyeing the neighbor's shed and saying it would make a great coop...
Is chicken fever curable?
uh-oh. The husband just read my post and and told me that he does not fully appreciate the beauty of a turken. But he didn't put it quite so nicely.
We are looking forward to the swap!

I plan to come.

I'm looking for White and Brown Leghorn cockerels or young roosters. Also a Rhode Island Red cockerel or young rooster.

Possible some White Leghorn pullets as well.

I have some Delaware and Black Jersey Giant cockerels (hatched May 01, 2009) originating from Sand Hill Preservation if anyone is interested.
