Power Outage for 5 hours -- NEED ADVICE -- PLEASE HELP

Those are great tips that I will be sure to remember. Unfortunately I was not home at the time when the power went out this time.

It doesn't look like the chicks are as big as they should be going into lock down.

i would not touch them put them in lockdown. Don't worry my incubator turned off for about 3 hours and they still survived those chicks are tough!

Today is day 21 and no chicks yet but I had another problem on day 19... Incubator got too hot.... I have just decided that this batch is just not going my way. If any hatch it will be a miracle.

No chicks yet.... Before anyone yells at me for opening the incubator I had to see what was going on it there. I just candled three eggs. 1 was dead and two were moving. But not hatches and no pips yet. I would just like 1 stinking chick to hatch at this point so all our hard work isn't a complete waste.

How did you know that one was dead? He may have just been resting. Don't give up hope yet.
