PPBA Show in Stockton, CA in January?

I have 3 extra cockerels that I'm not needing for my breeding program. They are Fitz Farm/Bev Davis lines. All nicely feather footed

So cute! Excuse the blurry picture they are FAST!

Two are 6 weeks and the other is 8 weeks.

I can bring them to the Stockton show if anyone is interested, I can put them in my sale cage

email if interested [email protected]

THANKS

Does anyone have a started pair of LF Silver Laced Wyandottes that they're willing to part with at the show? I'd like to get my son started showing this year, and since I haven't even hatched any eggs of his breed of choice yet, it seems that a started pair is the way to go. I'll be there on Saturday.

I use the kind that clamp through kennel doors, they hold 20oz. - Are you referring to a large plastic cup??

Adams flea and tick - is that the same as like frontline?

4 hers can you hire them at the show to watch the sale cages for you?

Cheryl, I use stainless steel coop cups, but there will be plastic ones for sale from the vendors, or you can use the small ones provided by the club.

Adams Flea and Tick is a spray on, overthecounter spray for cats and dogs, different than Frontline (different chemicals); I myself use Eprinex.

For 10% of sales price, 4-Hers will feed, water and conduct sales on your behalf... really convenient for those of thus there also showing birds, staffing tables or socializing (imagine that!).

We are planning on going to the show on Saturday but probably won't get there until between 8 and 9. This will be our first time attending a poultry show and are very excited to see all the beautiful birds! But DH will be with us so there will be no buying for us.

He keeps reminding me that we have chicks coming on March 22 so we don't need chicks now. We love raising chicks but are approaching our limit of allowed adults. I'm looking to add 3-5 pullets to our flock this year and I'm hoping to get that out of the 8-10 chicks that we are planning on getting in March.

Are we meeting somewhere and at what time? Also, is there an admission fee?

Cheryl, what you have will work just fine for your large fowl. I do not believe that the 4-Hers will care for your show stock, only the sales barn. They are kept very busy and have their own youth events... doesn't prevent you from asking tho... where you gonna be??? Golfing with the DH?

Debi,

I don't know if we're meeting anywhere, but I do know that there is no admission for the show.

I'll be getting there around 9-10, I'd say. I have some stuff to do before we leave. I can't buy any birds so it's ok. I'm getting some eggs & a friend is dropping off a pair or muscovies I've already purchased!
