I like windowpanes best. It's more unusual with a sort of asymmetrical block.

I am not sure yet if I am in but my gut feeling was the one off center might be more interesting but then I saw pictures of something similar like the first nine center one and I really liked that too. It is the colors that make it stand out.

it looks like the window panes are going to get it. Should we make the colors, "makers choice"? no brights The instructions shows the block being make with about 8 different colors, or colors the same but with prints and without.

I don't understand the difference but then it is early here and I am not quite awake yet. Maybe later after coffee. On another note, I am sewing my little white squares onto the 5 inch squares for our current swap. I hope to get a lot done within the next 2 weeks.

This. I am not sure but for some reason I thought you were explaining that there were two different color ways to choose from, one with colors the same and one with prints but I don't understand the difference. Maybe if I saw a visual. Maybe more sleep first. LOL

oh the 9 patch weave has the 2 color ways, a light grid and a dark grid
