Try saying that when there's a room full of psychiatrists and they block you in the loony bin for your faith... Yep, that's where I've been.... Say that my faith is made up in my head and i can tell them to blow off ;)

Yes, we are called to be able to defend our faith, and to give an answer for the hope that lies within us. For, if not us to point the way to the Savior, then, who???

I Peter 3:15-16

15 But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect, 16 keeping a clear conscience, so that those who speak maliciously against your good behavior in Christ may be ashamed of their slander.

II Timothy 2;15
Study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Hugs to you SG for the difficult path that you have had to walk, but know this: your testimony and your faith, and YOUR ability to defend YOUR faith are speaking into the lives of many, to build the kingdom of our Lord and Savior.
 
I just wanna thank the Lord today for the many valuable friends I've made on BYC! We laugh and cry together, support each other, and learn from one another, and grow in HIS likeness... it has been an emotional roller coaster that I wouldn't trade in. And even the non-Christian friends I've made have been such a blessing! I guess I should thank God for putting the idea of BYC into founders mind and the knowledge provided for the many builders of the site. I ask the Lord that he continues to bless us and grow BYC to be used in ways never fathomed, that it continues to be a safe place to interact and have another tool at our disposal to live a life inspired!
