I agree looks like a hawk but was the one duck inside a coop of some sort when it was killed?

Most likely a weasel or a mink then.

Without pictures of how your coop is set up and what kind of barriers you have it’s a total guess.

Is there any holes that they can stick their heads out through ? I had that happen and I caught the critter in the act . It was a racoon . Is their anything inside the coop they can get their heads under and get caught up in ? Good luck
