Yep, pretty sure that they legally have to be 8 weeks.

It depends on what state OP is in.
Some US states have laws that say 8 weeks, a few have laws that say 7 weeks, some do not have any laws about it.
That goes for puppies, kittens, rabbits, chicks, and many other pet-type animals. Laws about how young they can be sold, and whether they have to be sold in groups (chicks) are not consistent from one state to another.

I’ve gotten her used to the nesting box. The only thing is, she can’t get up so I may have to carry her.

Are you absolutely certain she isn't in labor?

When she begins to go into it, you'll need to get her into the whelping box if she isn't already in it. Have someone lift her front end while you lift her hind legs. DO NOT WRAP YOUR ARMS AROUND HER ABDOMEN. Press your palms on the inside of her thighs and lift. Don't put any pressure whatsoever on her abdomen.

She's going to be restless for the next 24 hours. You'll notice contractions beginning. Once she begins having heavy contractions, the first pup should be born within the hour. If it's not, she needs to go to a vet immediately.

Just want to add here. If she goes into labor and has /any/ complications (long time between pups, heavy non stop bleeding, etc) do not wait. Go to the vet asap.

I've had several people bring laboring dogs in at the vet I work with and they always wait several days, and by then the mother is septic and the puppies are all dead.

While I don't agree with what's happened with everything I hope everything goes well and she stays healthy and the pups are born with no problems.

I don’t think she’s going into labor because she is still eating. She doesn’t have milk either. I’ll definitely watch for any complications.

I bought all the supplies in case I have to help deliver a pup
