I was going to ask about maybe dusky. I have a couple blue fawn dusky’s. The dusky gene suppress the claret bib (right, @Pyxis ?)
Thanks for asking about my chicks and about the duckling. The chicks are doing great, momma is being wonderful. The duckling hatched yesterday with some assistance.

Your blue fawn dusky drake is gorgeous! And the one to the left of the photo is so unique! I had never heard of those prior to Pyxis’s suggestion.

Glad your chicks are doing great! They are so cute! What a handsome rooster too! He is stunning! What breed is he?

Yay!! So glad it hatched I’ve been looking foreword to it’s grand entrance! Loner duck is adorable! Do you know what color yet?

This is one of the cutest things I’ve seen in a while! Adorable cat and little duckling! Too sweet!

Funny enough one of my cats is has the nickname “Fat cat” so that made me laugh!

@Pyxis mind if I pick your brain yet again? When you’re not busy I’d love to know what color my little drake is. He is about a year old. I believe his mother was a butterscotch and his father a grey penciled. I guessed blue fawn pied but now im thinking that was incorrect.

Thanks! His name is Valentine. He is one of the last years ducklings.

I’m not hatching anymore in the incubator (for a while)... but my broody call (Squeegee) has 8 eggs due any day now. She gave up last time but I decided to let her try again. She’s doing well this time around!

I think I’m reaching my limit soon... I’m up to 19 calls and 2 standard size dux...

Everyone is doing well. Squeegee’s 8 eggs look like they should be hatching soon. The babies are feathering in more and Beans has gotten some dark grey on his head and belly. Pictures soon to come!

Definitely a wild one! So exciting! I’ve been wondering how your incubation is going! What day are they on? I’m looking foreword to adorable pictures when they hatch!
