Thank you for that! I have read so much about hatching calls but the majority says what you've stated. I certainly would hate to intervene unnecessarily and too early resulting in death. That'd just be utterly heartbreakingYay! So exciting!! I usually give them 16-18 hours after internal pip to do a safety hole. So glad you’ve got an external pip!

Yep, it’s always a hard call to make. If you have one pipping I bet the others won’t be too far behind. If it’s been a while since the others internally pipped it wouldn’t hurt to give a safety hole later if you wanted too.
I'm hoping to hatch geese soon! The member you referred me to for the Roman tufted has me on their list for eggs after their gosling orders have been filled. Fingers crossed there are eggs left!
