I will say that I’ve noticed my calls tend to keep making multiple pips instead of zipping like other ducks.

Yes! I've got 3 that have internally pipped out of 7. They're talking has been the absolute sweetest noise ever! I'm contemplating on making a safety hole or not.

Actually I just checked again and I have one that's recently externally pipped

Yay! So exciting!! I usually give them 16-18 hours after internal pip to do a safety hole. So glad you’ve got an external pip!

My one that's externally pipped looks almost similar to a zip with 2 target marks side by side. I need to get everything together in case interventions become necessary.

Yep that’s how mine tended to zip. (With multiple pips).
