Funny story! Today I went on YouTube and I searched up day 10 call duck egg. I was wanting to see some others to make sure mine were looking ok on air cell size and everything... Anyways funny enough the first video to pop up was your candling video @shawluvsbirds ! So of course I then got distracted and spent a half hour watching all your sweet call videos!
I’m so impatient I’ve literally been watching call duckling hatching videos all week! I was also watching videos of sweet little peepers. I’m really looking foreword to call babies! I’m hoping everything keeps going good!

Here’s the videos I took today of 2 of the 7 eggs. Everyone looks very good except egg 5s. The air cell on that one is much larger than the others and it doesn’t have much movement. It’s still fine right now and the veins look ok but I’m keeping a close eye on that one. For that little guy.

But anyways here are 2 of them I’m not sure which numbers.

Here’s 5s from earlier today. Again it’s fine right now and I’m definitely leaving it. This is just for reference. It doesn’t move much and has a significantly larger air cell. As of this morning it’s still alive with some good veining. We shall see

What day are yours due to hatch? I have 7 in one of my incubators and They're due March 4th or 5th. My calls are already laying like crazy but it's been -4°F to -17°F and they are cracking open and frozen solid! I'm going to have to wait a while to collect more. I'd like to have them separated into their own breeding pens, I'm so impatient .

Oh my gosh what a coincidence! I have 7 in the bator as of now and mine are due to hatch on March 4th or 5th as well! I hope you have a good hatch! Be sure to post some fluffy call pictures when they hatch!

My girls are steadily laying as well but same as you the eggs keep freezing! The only way I was able to salvage these was by going out very early. It’s been around 0 to -9 here. You are pretty close to me so weather is probably about the same. I’m very impatient as well!
Mine will be mystery colors! I have a couple different and no one’s separated. What colors might yours be?

It'll be mystery ducklings. I have Snowy, White, Magpie, Blue Bibbed, and some called Penciled ( looks like blue magpie ) A couple Mallard colored, I got locally. I won't be putting some in breeding pens. I love my Magpie call ducks. I can't get good pictures of the " little piggies " until it gets warmer and they can take a bath.

I love mystery ducklings! It’s so fun to be surprised at the color when they hatch! Sounds like you’ve got a great array of colors! I have one that was supposed to be a grey pied (it’s actually a blue fawn pied which I prefer) but I was glad he wasn’t a regular grey pied. I really hope to add Magpie colored someday! I love them but they seem to be hard to find. Where did you acquire yours from? Yep know what you mean about warming up. My white call has been playing all in the dirt (my shed that they’re in has a dirt floor) and he has turned himself brown! Bath time needs to come soon! Why can’t it be Spring already! I’m sick of all this chilly weather!
