Ok here’s the video. I feel a little lump in its throat but it won’t move. I keep trying to massage it down.

Well s**t.Ok here’s the video. I feel a little lump in its throat but it won’t move. I keep trying to massage it down.
Thanks so much for the help. I haven’t seen any of them eating straw. It felt like the lump was near the crop. I saw all of them up running around eating and drinking at around 6:30 am when I checked them.Have you seen them eating on any of the straw? what else is in there?
How far down the throat? Have you seen the duckling eating and drinking?
I'm sorry you lost one of the babies.![]()
I have had that go both ways.If this baby in the incubator doesn’t hatch do you think Cami would accept Pickle? I’m not sure what else to do. I don’t want to take one of Cami’s babies. I’m really hoping the little malposition that I’m assisting will hatch.![]()
I have had some that I have seen pig out on food and wait too long to go get a drink. They choke like this for a while.. eventually it worked itself out so I hope that is all that's going on with yours! Thanks so much for the help. I haven’t seen any of them eating straw. It felt like the lump was near the crop. I saw all of them up running around eating and drinking at around 6:30 am when I checked them.
Thanks for the condolences I really appreciate it.
Thanks for the help. I really appreciate it. I have Purina flock raiser crumbles out for them. I was gently massaging downwards as not to push liquid up and aspirate the baby. Yep, I always make sure to hold them gently as not to push on the crop. I hope this little one pulls through.Well s**t.
What kind of feed do you have out for them? Hopefully it just swallowed too much food at once and it will work itself down.
Be careful massaging you don't want to push liquid up. You know how if you pick one up and put too much pressure on it it will kind of throw up some water? That's what you don't want to happen.
This baby is the same color as one of her hatchlings. If the little malposition doesn’t hatch then I will try it and see how it goes.I have had that go both ways.
If this duckling is the same color as some of hers there's a better chance she'll take it.
I had a broody last year that took some that weren't even the same age as hers.
